Sources close to Taylor Swift indicate that the princess of country pop and the ambassador to electronic dance music, Deadmau5, have collaborated in the studio together a few weeks ago. Joel Zimmerman who goes by the stage name Deadmau5 was quoted by reporters saying that he looks forward to the finished product.
“It’s not my typical type of music but Taylor’s people contacted my people and I loved the idea they pitched me so I got her in my studio”.
Taylor was very eager to dabble in the electronic dance music industry, as it has been taking the United States by storm the last couple years. Big festivals like Ultra Music Festival, Electric Zoo and soon to be Tomorrowland have people paying over $300.00 for 3 day passes. The collaboration with female vocals isn’t a first for Deadmau5, as he has worked with Miley Cyrus in “One Trick Pony” and Sofi Toufa in “Raise Your Weapon” Taylor Swift said
“I was so excited to work with the mouse man, have wanted to make techno music with him ever since I saw him spin those records at the VMA, what a great performance”.
Taylor Swift is currently on a United States tour right now. Her next concert will be in Fargo, North Dakota at the Fargo-dome. Deadmau5 has been laying down low working on a plethora of music. All of which is still under construction, however musical pieces have been leaked on his sound-cloud. Asked by reporters if he would ever tour with the pop country princess
“If it happens it happens, but I can’t say anything right now”.
Deadmau5 plays his next gig at the Festival Corona Capital in Mexico City October 12th 2013.
